Limb anxiety

I’m seriously considering buying new limbs.

Samick Extreme limbs, are about 600 dollars AU. Money is a pain.

Honours

I was confirmed for honours. I am now fully enrolled, have my own desk and key to get in. I have computer lab access, and even after hours access. Pretty neat all round.

I have a supervisor and have even started getting stuck into my thesis topic. My thesis will be soaked in Linear Algebra.

All in all good news.

In other good news, I actually went to a party yesterday where I enjoyed myself. I met new people, woah.

*touches wood*

Honours

I finally found out that I have been accepted into honours.

It’s still stressful because it’s not finalised, I have to find a supervisor first.

I refused to look for a supervisor until I was certain I was in because I didn’t want to then find out I wasn’t in. That seems foolish now that I know I’m in, it would have been better to organize it well in advance, then I could have studied during the holidays too.

I’m considering general algebra and duality theory, or descrete dynamical systems.

It really doesn’t matter what I do. It is all interesting. And unlike a PhD or master, my interests and choices wont be so permanent.

Wooo

Yesterday I passed my motorcycle license test.

2006 World Cup

The world cup is over.

I was hoping France would win instead of Italy, but it wasn’t to be. During the penalty shootout my heart was beating so fast I was scared. Over all in the game I thought France deserved the win more. One day I hope they abandon penalty shootouts for replays or sudden death in world cup finals.

I still think Zidane was/is fantastic, and was definitely the best player of the tournament.
