Miff starts soon. Gotta be ready this time, choose everything in advance.
I finished my first exam on Tuesday. It was the most important of them, because it will determine whether they let me into honours or not. I think I did well, well enough though I don’t know.
My next exam is on Thursday, I have to pass this class in order to finish. It should be an easier exam though. My theory on exams is, either you do as well as you can, you just scrape though by flike, or you fail miserably. That seems to be the pattern. More often then not, if I aim for the scrape through result, I fail miserably. If I aim at doing the best I can, then I do well. That’s my strategy this time.
I managed to catch the last 5 minutes of the Australia Japan world cup match. It was a pretty spectacular time to see it.
Australia scored 2 goals in that time completing a 3 goals in 10 minutes comeback.
I’m taking it as a sign. I believe in the socceroos.
Seeing those goals made me feel like my exam will go okay, and raise my faith in my archery. Weird eh?
If we can draw against Brazil (heh..) then it might be enough to make it to the final 16
Either way the Croatia game is going to a big big trial.
I feel a little sad for the Japan team. It would have been good to meet them later. They aren’t knocked out yet, but if they don’t win against Croatia they can’t make it to the next round. Even if they win, they will have to draw against Brazil.
I’m expecting Croatia to beat Japan, Brazil winning against everyone, and Australia having to battle Croatia in the final game to fight for the 2nd spot.
My book finally arrived.
Total Archery ~ Kisik Lee.
It’s really really good. Published by Samick so I think it’s only possible to get through archery (probably target archery) shops.
I need to increase my overall fitness. And the total number of arrows I shoot per week.
Arrows per week is a problem, since at the moment there is no way I can shoot at home. Getting to the club it quite a trek to do each day. I’m not sure how to tackle it, but I’m going to do visualizing and drawing practice to start with.
I’m not sure where to start with goal setting, so I’m going to start by gauging what is easy and then set something a bit higher. Start with a weekly goal maybe?
Tomorrow I’m going for a short jog.
