Orlando is standing amongst the now comically huge pile of dead puppets. After this he give a long speech (all in Italian which I can’t understand), talking to his dead comrades. He is mortally wounded and dies in a later scene in the woods, where an archangle comes down to hear his long death rattle. Orlando is the only puppet which had a tube running down his main pole. In his final gurgling and gasping they poured fake blood down it so he could cough and gasp blood in his final moments. Very graphic, very entertaining.
