I saw the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe last night.
I was scared it would be bad. Since they are some of my favorite books. Much more so then Lord of the Rings ever was.
I am happy to say that it was fabulous. The most suprising thing about it was the child actors. They were really good. Especially Lucy and Edmond. They fitted the roles perfectly too.
But with out a doubt the star of the movie was Tilda Swinton as the White Witch. Scary, Powerful, Intimidating and Cunning. I’m not sure what to say about her, other then that I really hope they make some of the other books with her in it.
I was worried that other people who saw it would treat it unfairly, but was pleased to see everyone entranced by it. It wasn’t just because I’d read all the books already. Which means the movie does justice to the book.
I highly recommend it.
Especially to all those kids that love harry potter, now it’s time you see what a real story is. You will love it.
