Beyond Good and Evil

This game was so damn underated. It got excellent reviews, it was heaps of fun, an amazing story line. Great potential for a sequal..
But hardly anyone bought it. You can get it for $15AU in the bargain section of ebgames now.

I added some avatars of Jade because she is one of my favorite video game characters. Maybe the favorite, since I can’t think of any others right now that compare.

So this is a “Beyond Good and Evil” tribute post.

Happy Birthday

Went to the botanical gardens today. I haven’t really explored there much.
We had a great simple lunch. Rolls, sundried tomatoes, jarlsberg, eggplant, rocket.
Yumm’o.
Explored a little bit, found the herb garden and the tropical hothouse.
Found a cocoa tree, coffee plant, and vanilla vine. I always wondered what they looked like.

Dinner was great, tons of baked vegetables with rosemary and red wine vinegar.

Got a set of high fedelity speakers.
The cards were great.
Coffee was good, sunny day. Great cake. Icecream and the left over strawberries after dinner.

All in all a great day.

Nintendo DS

I think I really want to buy one now..
I was really just looking for games that gave me enough of an excuse.
And now…………. I’ve found “Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney“!!

Basically the best quote from that linked review is this
“It’s like being cuddled by fun.”
The important thing is they really meant it.

*edit*
soo.. if I do buy one, I want a few games for it.
These look like a good choice.

  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
  • Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
  • Advance Wars Dual Strike

Sonic The Hedgehog

Sonic, where are you now?
I played sonic on my old Megadrive.
We could finish it in one long sitting.
That was an awesome game.

VG Cats

VG Cats

aeris
You are
Aeris!

You act like you’re smarter than everyone else
and you get easily frustrated at people. You do
tend to have a nice, caring side at times but
you usually run on a short fuse. You are pretty
cute though. That has to count for something,
right?

Which VG Cats character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Neural Networks

So in a forward feeding backward propagation neural network…
I have 5 input variables.
1 output variable.
How the hell do I decide how many hidden layers and perceptrons to use?
Guesswork is not going to be good enough. I need reasons.
